Nirvana: accusa di pedopornografia.

Spencer Elden è il nome del bambino nella copertina di Nevermind, album dei Nirvana. A trent’anni dall’uscita dell’album li accusa di pedpornografia. 

Buongiorno amici del mondo della musica, oggi notizie calde bollono in pentola. Si chiama Spencer Elden il bambino della foto di copertina dell’album dei Nirvana intitolato Nevermind. Ad oggi, a 30 anni dall’uscita dell’album e della sua copertina gli fa causa. Di cosa li accusa? Di pedopornografia, sostenendo che i genitori non hanno mai firmato nessuna liberatoria per acconsentire all’uso dell’immagine. Citazione per aggiunta di danni morali con un risarcimento di 150 mila dollari.

Le accuse ai Nirvana.

Quindici secondo per un tuffo in piscina e 200 dollari alla famiglia. A quanto pare il padre era un amico del fotografo. Una scelta che ad oggi non si è rivelata poi così giusta. Il ragazzo afferma infatti di aver subito danni per tutta la vita, incluso stress emotivo e sviluppo educativo. Li accusa di aver commercializzato la pornografia infantile.  

Secondo la legge americana le foto dei neonati che mostrano i genitali non sono considerate pedopornografia, ma l’avvocato di Elden, Robert Y. Lewis, sostiene che l’immagine della banconota da un dollaro fa sembrare il minore “come una prostituta”.

Nirvana: le accuse infondate? 

Nonostante le accuse fatte ai Nirvana, Elden, in realtà‘, ha ricreato la foto della copertina più’ volte da adolescente e da adulto per celebrare il 10mo, 20mo e 25mo anniversario del disco uscito nel 1991. Nel 2016, tuttavia, l’allora 25enne ha dichiarato a Time Magazine di essersi “un po’ arrabbiato” per la sua notorieta’ quando e’ cresciuto. 

In altre interviste, invece, e’ parso decisamente più’ ottimista: “È sempre stata una cosa positiva e mi ha aperto diverse porte. Ho 23 anni e sono un artista, questa storia mi ha dato l’opportunità di lavorare con Shepard Fairey per cinque anni, un’esperienza fantastica“.
