E la Croce Rossa Italiana – Comitato di Oristano si occuperà dello smistamento e alla distribuzione in tutto il territorio colpito.

Un gesto che la CRI descrive così: «Ettari di boschi andati in fumo. Un popolo messo a dura prova che senza nessun potere guarda cadere a pezzi gli sforzi di una vita, case e aziende e vede morire i propri animali senza riuscire a salvarli. Tutto questo spezza il cuore non solo di chi vive in prima persona questa triste devastazione, ma di tutti i sardi che vedono la loro terra come una madre da proteggere e da amare. Ma le difficoltà tirano fuori il vero carattere dei sardi e, davanti alla Sardegna che brucia, arriva un grande gesto di solidarietà ».
