Måneskin: in uscita il nuovo singolo ‘Mammamia’

I  Måneskin non si fermano regalando al pubblico un nuovo singolo, dal titolo “Mammamia”. Le parole della canzone vengono accompagnate da un video ancor più travolgente dove Damiano, il front man, sembra vittima delle fantasie omicide dei membri della band. 

Buongiorno amici del mondo di radiolocaliditalia.it, oggi parliamo un pò di musica, o meglio, parliamo dei Måneskin e del loro nuovo singolo Mammamia. Se si pensa a tutta la strada che hanno fatto per arrivare a conquistarsi il palco di X-Factor, Sanremo e degli Eurovision probabilmente sarebbe infinita, ma piena di soddisfazione.  

Com’è nata l’idea?

Ed ecco qui Mamma mia, un brano che non è stato preso troppo sul serio, non è stato studiato a tavolino per essere la nuova hit del momento. E’ un brano nato dalla passione per la musica in un momento in cui i ragazzi si stavano semplicemente divertendo. – Secondo quanto affermato su soundsblog.it. 

Ma di cosa parla vi chiederete. 

Il significato del brano.

Il brano si carica di un significato parodico non indifferente dettato dalle critiche che la stessa band ha ricevuto in un momento di forte visibilità e non solo. 

All’interno di un paese conservatore come l’Italia , ciò che non si presenta secondo i canoni viene additato come diverso, criticato e alle volte anche accusato. Uno stile androgino, gender neutral come il loro ha fatto spesso parlare invece di concentrarsi sul fatto che si mostrano per quello che sono. 

“Sentiamo di poter diffondere un messaggio positivo dicendo alle persone che va bene essere chi sei. Mostrare autostima e fiducia in se stessi è una buona cosa, può aiutare molto”. – afferma la cantante Victoria. 

Le critiche alla band

Le critiche non sono venute meno neanche per i Måneskin che all’Eurovision sono stati accusati di uso di sostanze stupefacenti. Accuse presto smentite. Una serie di eventi, voci e critiche su cui i componenti della band hanno riflettuto per capire come tutto questo li facesse sentire, per poi arrivare a giocare sullo stereotipo del cantante rock di una band italiana.

Il cantante si mostra altezzoso, privo di delicatezza, fastidioso, invadente; tutto ciò suscita il fastidio dei tre che arrivano ad ucciderlo.

Mentre viaggiano in auto, i musicisti immaginano vari modo di ammazzare  Damiano David, che trovano molesto, in un club – una presa in giro dei cliché rock sui contrasti fra cantante e band. 

Ethan lo fa affogare nell’acqua del water (“rest in piss”, si legge nel bagno), Victoria lo accoltella dopo che l’ha interrotta mentre faceva sesso con una spettatrice, Thomas lo massacra colpendolo con la chitarra elettrica. – rollingstone.it

Ogni scena è il frutto dell’immaginazione della band alla fine delle quali Damiano entra in auto per dire “Odio questa canzone”. Un velo di ironia e celata critica che non abbandonano la visione dello spettatore fino all’ultimo.
