Astroworld festival: un evento annuale di due giorni con Travis Scott. L’evento di quest’anno è stato annullato in seguito all’accaduto di venerdì sera. 

Buongiorno amici di radiolocaliditalia.it oggi parliamo del festival di Travis Scott, Astroworld Festival organizzato insieme a Live Nation. Se l’evento previsto per l’anno scorso è stato cancellato per incentivare la prevenzione a causa Covid, quest’anno è stato sospeso. Otto persone morte e centinaia ferite.

Una situazione partita con il piede giusto dato il sold out della vendita dei biglietti. Si prospettava un grande evento ma il risultato finale è alquanto drammatico. Otto morti e centinaia di feriti a causa della calca che continuava a spingere verso il palco. 

Travis Scott e LiveNation hanno interrotto lo show quando era evidente che più persone erano rimaste ferite. 

Le parole dell’assistente esecutivo

Il capo dell’assistente esecutivo dello Houston Police Department Larry Satterwhite ha dichiarato «Una volta che è scoppiato il caos, stavamo iniziando a praticare la rianimazione cardiopolmonare su diverse persone, ed è successo tutto in una volta. All’improvviso c’erano diverse persone a terra che hanno avuto un qualche tipo di arresto cardiaco o qualche tipo di problema medico». 

Rimangono in corso le indagini per quanto riguarda la morte delle otto vittime.

L’evento sospeso

Ovviamente, in seguito a questo episodio le esibizioni non sono andate più avanti, ma resta il dubbio sulla causa dell’evento. 

Secondo quanto riportato su rollingstone.it anche Travis Scott ha scritto un messaggio sui social: “Sono devastato da quello che è successo ieri sera. Le mie preghiere vanno alle famiglie e a tutti coloro che sono stati colpiti da ciò che è accaduto all’Astroworld Festival. La polizia di Houston ha tutto il mio sostegno mentre cerca di far luce su questa tragedia. Voglio impegnarmi per lavorare con la comunità di Houston e aiutare le famiglie che ne abbiano bisogno”.
